Wow, this guy. One of my all time heroes behind the decks. King Britt is such a versatile producer. In the near future, he is going to release the Fhloston Paradigm EP, an outlet for Britt to explore his fascination with the science fiction movies and TV series of his youth, creating imaginary soundtracks on entirely analogue gear.
“This process forces me to think differently, much like when I started out in the 80s, about arrangement and rhythm. The sound is also all analogue which is what was used in all the science fiction films. So naturally the music leans toward that vibe” - King Britt (Fact Magazine, 2012)
This is probably one of those mixtapes, I will still remember at the end of the year. Mr. King Britt, you are stil a hero. Available in a download, or stream.
