Weinig woorden, maar wel heel veel nieuwe muziek. The Clipse komt volgende week met Till The Casket Drops. Van dit nieuwe album moet Freedom wel mijn favoriete track zijn. Maar beluister ook even Showin’ Out feat. Gotti en Life Change feat. Pharrell. Hudson Mohawke is een van mijn favoriete producers van het moment, en dus is Overnight essentieel. Common komt ook met een nieuwe track, samen met John Legend: Strange Fruit. 

J.Rocc

Stones Throw producer J.Rocc komt met een nieuwe podcast: Secondhand Sureshots. Tot slot een bijzondere cover: Chilly Gonzales bewerkt Waves, van Erol Alkan en Boys Noize.

Ich Clack Dich

Ich Clack Dich Gezien op Myspace. De nieuwe video van Le Le, gemaakt door de Amsterdamse kunstenaar Parra en Ewoudt Boonstra van communicatiebureau Kesselskramer. Ich Clack Dich gaat over fotografie en de lifestyle daarachter, en is een vervolg op de clip Breakfast. Ziet er goed uit, boys. Lekker bezig! Ontbijten doe je na de jump.

The Blacroc Project

The Blacroc Project Via Lee Stuart. Dit wordt heel, heel erg goed. Dat garandeer ik je. The Black Keys zitten op dit moment in de studio met een aantal rappers, waaronder Q-Tip en Mos Def. Eigenlijk iedereen die Damon Dash aan de telefoon kon krijgen. Het resultaat is een Dangerdoom-achtige sound, zonder dat het clichématig wordt. Bekijk na de jump meer beelden van de studio-opnames.
