CRAZY BIRDS was nominated for two Dutch Bloggies, teamed up with various advertising agencies and collaborated on various projects with brands such as Bacardi and Jameson.

When we received the program of this year’s North Sea Jazz festival we were thrilled to see a diverse mix of new contemporary artists. The line-up includes Swiss virtuoso Dimlite, Irish wonderboy Mike Slott, the Scottish “herald of change” Hudson Mohawke and the Austrian keyboard wizard Dorian Concept, as well as new soul cats such as Jose James, The Roots and Shafiq Husayn. Therefore - as a dedication, this special edition of our Future Nest podcast series, highlighting the new artists performing at the festival, which is held from 9 till the 11th of July in Rotterdam. On the album cover we celebrate a man who we think inspired all these new artists: mr. Herbie Hancock.
