Dam Weekly is a weekly selection of five cool things to do this weekend in Amsterdam. We try to include a mixtape or video next to every event, so you won’t end up in the wrong spots. After the jump you’ll find our curated events. Have a great weekend.
1. Freundliche Flirtschaft, Blauwe Theehuis (Vondelpark)
Plain simple, Freundliche Flirtschaft is a small event for nice people who happen to be single. No big deal, just a place with drinks and friendly people. If you’re in a relationship? No problem, but bring a single friend. This Friday, starting at 17.30 hrs.

2. Disco 3000, Trouw Amsterdam
DJ Deep - Authorized Dealer Mixtape
Disco 3000 equals deep disco vibes, Detroit house galore and future sounds from the year 3000. This Friday Amsterdam based label Rush Hour managed to include DJ Deep from Paris in their excellent lineup. This guy knows good deep house. Check his mix above.

3. Subbacultcha!, De Nieuwe Anita
Cold Pumas - Beat Mystery
Also this Friday and probably the most indie pick of this week is Subbacultcha!, a popular night at De Nieuwe Anita, where Brighton-based band Cold Pumas will do a small gig. They play noisy new wave dance music, use pulsating drum rhythms, super tight bass grooves, weaving one note guitar riffs and delay-drowning vocals. At Subbacultcha!, the cocktails are always nearby.

4. Foxes & Wolves, Melkweg
Tom Trago - Foxes & Wolves Mixtape
Saturday The Disco Wolves (Tom Trago, Job de Wit and others) invite Seymour Bits, the alias of ‘Jeugd van Tegenwoordig’ producer Bas Bron who recently finished his new album. We expect him to preview some of his new tracks, which is enough reason to visit the night.

5. Music Lab, Pakhuis de Zwijger
After your weekend: Music Lab is a night focussing on music, technology and creativity. A place for people in the music industry to discuss, well… music. Guests for this edition include Sjam Sjamsoedin (Nobody Beats the Drum), Cinnaman (Viral Radio) and Simon Grey (Beatstation). Producers such as Steven de Peven, Perquisite and SirOJ create beats live on the scene.
