On February 3rd, during the IFFR, a special screening of Danny Boyle’s (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting) new movie 127 hours will be held at a secret location in Rotterdam during The Jameson Film Experience. We already know where it is. And yes, it’s in Rotterdam at a very special location.The movie is followed by an after party featuring artists such as B.R.U.C.E., Rory Philips (UK), Jeff Solo & Samuel Scott. We’ve managed to grab some tickets. Just send us a mail and we’ll try to get you into this secret event.
Recreate a classic movie in a minute

With their latest contest Done in Sixty Seconds, our friends from Jameson challenge you to recreate a classic movie in no more than a minute. Just boil it down to its essence and cram it all into a timeframe shorter than the life expectancy of the comedy sidekick in a slasher movie. This is what you should do. First, get inspired on their Facebook page or check out one of last year’s entries above. Afterwards, grab a camera from somewhere and start shooting. It’s that simple. The final will take place on the 20th of February in the Ketelhuis, Amsterdam. All the entries will be shown and a jury of film experts (including Habbekrats, Anna Drijver, 100% Halal) will choose their winner. Last but not least, we’re giving away two Cineville cards via our Twitter.
